Mobile CSP is a high school computer science course based on App Inventor, a programming language that is used to create mobile apps for Android devices (phones and tablets). The course is based on the new emerging AP CS Principles framework that is being developed by the College Board for initial release in 2016-17. The basic idea behind the Mobile CSP course is to get students interested in computer science by getting them engaged in building mobile apps. The Mobile CSP project is funded by the National Science Foundation and includes a Professional Development component that trains teachers throughout the U.S.. Currently there are around 300+ U.S. teachers engaged in the Mobile CSP project. For more information see http://mobile-csp.org.
